Luckie Was A Black Man!

Luckie St. Atlanta, GA was named after Solomon “Sam” Luckie, 1 of 40 free blacks in Atlanta. Solomon “Sam” Luckie an African  American Barber and Bath Salon owner killed in a bombing of Atlanta during the Civil War while leaning on a lamp post talking to a group of white businessmen. Luckie St. is currently the home of several businesses, condos and more.
